Asheville Residential Architect | Peter Tart

Residence | Custom Renovation | North Carolina

What began as a major renovation/addition essentially became a new home - only a bedroom wing was saved, and renovated with higher ceilings. The original dark ranch with 8' ceilings was transformed into an open, airy and sun-filled home with various gathering options and even a get-away game room upstairs. Also important to the owners is a clear sequence of public-to-private spaces starting with the entry portico and the interior foyer, setting up a transition for discovery.
