What the homeowners desired even more than the added guest suite and new expanded and open kitchen was a connection to the yard they had craved for some time. Being frequent entertainers they required that the connection between the interior gathering area/kitchen be unencumbered with the exterior cooking/seating and dining directly adjacent. And most importantly, the pool and landscape amenities be an extension of the home's interior.
